For the pack's Spring fundraising, the pack is selling discount “camp cards” for $5. They provide discounts to places like McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Dunkin' Donuts, Pinch-a-Penny, Busch Gardens, SeaWorld and many more. The Pack keeps $2.50 for each card sold.

The pack's Summer activity for July is yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date. There are several possible activities including a sleepover at the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) in Tampa.

On Saturday, August 11th, the pack will be going to SunSplash Family Waterpark in Cape Coral. The waterpark is open from 10-5 and you can bring your own cooler for lunch. The cost is $18 per adult and $16 per child (this may be reduced slightly if we reach group rates in numbers.)

The Spring Roundup at Lake Placid Elementary School was Thursday, April 26 at 6:30 P.M. There were 8 new cub scouts who joined Pack 426!!

Twilight Camp, which is the Cub Scout “Summer Camp” is one week long. This year's will be held June 11 – 15 from 5:30 to 8:30 each evening in Sebring at the First United Methodist Church on Pine Street. The theme this year is "Tom & Huck the Adventure Continues." The deadline for registration is May 18th. The cost is $85 per scout and/or sibling, a $35 scholarship may be available on financial need basis (you'll still pay $50.00). To kick off Pack 426's Summer activities, the End-of-School Pool Party will be on Saturday, June 9 from 10 A.M. til 2 P.M. The party will be at the Karlson's home and they'll provide hamburgers & hot dogs. Parents are encouraged to provide covered side dishes and a food sign up sheet will be available at upcoming meetings. Don't forget your swimsuit and towels.
